4K Program! We are very excited to collaborate with the Stoughton School District in this program.

Registration for 4K is held in February. If you are interested in Martin Luther as your child's 4K site, you are welcome to tour our facility at any time, meet our teachers, and see what we have to offer. Our 4K enjoys a physical education class instructed by our elementary PE Teacher in our gym. Our playground is a wonderful place for children to play, learn cooperative skills and have fun.

MLCS is pleased to announce our continued participation in the Four Year Old Kindergarten (4K) program as collaborating partners with the Stoughton Area School District. This program is offered to all children whose 4th birthday falls on or before September 1st and live in the Stoughton School District. The community-based 4K is a three hour program held Monday thru Friday (every other).

Math and reading curriculum is used in collaboration with the Stoughton School District. A typical day consists of reading, math, music, movement, center play, art activities, along with social and emotional development.

It is a Public School Program, and therefore, no Christian Education will be included in the three hours of instruction. MLCS does, however, offer a 10 minute period after each class time for prayer and God's word for those who desire a Christian focus. Written permission must be give to participate in the instruction time.

Registration for 4K must be done through the Stoughton School District. You may request MLCS as your 4K site at that time. Children already in our child care will be given first choice.
